Margaret Feltham

Margaret Green Feltham age 84 of Hoover passed away Monday, July 2, 2012. Mrs. Feltham was a lifelong resident of Birmingham. The daughter of Herman and Cathern Green, she was born and raised in Birmingham along with three sisters. Mrs. Feltham was a graduate of the University of Montevallo, touching many children's lives as a teacher. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Philip Feltham; sons, David and Dan (Juli); grandson, Danny (Meghan); two sisters, Mary Neighbors and Lenora (Frank) Buckley. She was an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church, known for her servant's heart. Mrs. Feltham provided additional community outreach by knitting blankets and prayer shawls through Loving Hands Ministry. Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel at 10:00 am with chapel service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at 1:15 pm at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church or Loving Hands Ministry.
