WALKER, MAMIE ALLGOOD "TOOTSIE", age 85, of Birmingham, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010. She was born in Blount County Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.D. "Dub" Walker. She is survived by her son, Robert Walker (Sina); daughters, Nell Zorn and Margaret Nivens (Kerry); grandchildren, Phillip Nivens, Christy Killen (Rob), Adrienne Nivens, Tamara Godwin (Jimbo), Robert Christopher Walker (Athenia), Heather Kelly (Ryan), and Raymond Zorn (Tiffany); 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Tootsie was a long time member of Crescent Heights Baptist Church in Lipscomb, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and helping with Vacation Bible School. She is currently a member of Pawnee Baptist Church. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 5-7 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Her service will be 2 PM at the chapel on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 with Bro. Anthony Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Oneonta.
