Mahala Spano, age 68, passed away on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Joe Spano. She loved her children, grandchildren, and dogs so very much. She is survived by her three children-Stephanie Spano Browning (Jason), Joseph Anthony Spano, Jr., and Angela Spano Campbell (Greg), grandchildren-Bentley Browning, Elyssa White, and Charlie Campbell, sister-Salinda Johnson (James), brother-in-law- Anthony Spano, Jr. (Marsha), niece- Makenzie DeFalco (Bailey), and nephew-Michael Spano (Sandy).
A public visitation will be held on Monday, November 7th, 2022 from 10:00am-11:00am at Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel located at 800 Dennison Ave. SW Birmingham, AL 35211 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00am. Burial to follow immediately at Elmwood Cemetery.
