Maggie Costa Scarpulla

Maggie Costa Scarpulla, 100, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. She was known for her good cooking and baking. She loved to sing and dance. Maggie was a member of the St. Anne's Sodality and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Aunt Maggie was a loving wife, mother and sister and a mother to many other children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Frances Costa; husband Joseph P. Scarpulla; brother, Tony Costa; sisters, Jean Ippolito and Mary Leo. She is survived by her daughter, Antoinette James (Wallace); Nephew, Tony Ippolito (Kathryn); nieces, Louise DiChiara (Louis) and Frances Walls (Glenn) and two special friends, Elizabeth Criswell and Carole Zarichnak and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with funeral mass following at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers make memorial donations to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
