Lynda F Cook

COOK, LYNDA F., age 72 of Birmingham, passed peacefully in her sleep on Friday, November 26, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie “Bill” Greer Funderburke; and sisters, Debra “Debbie” Guthrie and Sharon “Shari” Spring. She is survived by her son, Timothy Cook (Michelle); mother, Madeline “Pete” Reynolds; sister, Teresa Lovell (Chuck); step-brother, Thomas Reynolds (Kathy); grandchildren, Evan Cook, Matthew Cook and Dylan Brewster (Caroline); great-granddaughter, Lilith Brewster; and many nieces and nephews. Lynda was born in Birmingham and graduated from Banks High School. She was a legal secretary in the Birmingham area for over 30 years. Her family will celebrate her life with visitation on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 1-2 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Cancer Research.
