Lucy "Isabelle" Isabelle Leonard

We are celebrating the passing of Lucy “Isabelle” Leonard. Born in Indiana, she grew up in Alton, Illinois. She was married to Harold Leonard for 45 years (until his death in 1991) and had 3 children. She moved to Birmingham (1974) and Cullman (1990). She always had a smile for everyone and never met a stranger. She devoted her life to her husband and family; she loved them all - unconditionally. She is preceded in death by her parents (Wainright and Flossie Tague (Alton, IL), her husband, Harold R. Leonard, Sr. (Cullman, AL), her brothers, Melvin and Sonny Tague (Alton, IL) and sister, Vesta Swinford (Decatur, IL). She is survived by her three children, Harold Leonard, Jr. (Leslie) (Houston, TX), Sharold Wille (Tom/deceased) (Ft. Worth, TX) and Marlene McCain (Tom)(Cullman, AL); her grandchildren , Kirk Wille (Tammi) (Oceanside, CA), Kerri Nelson (Todd)(Atlanta, GA), Kristi Hays (Ft. Worth, TX), Courtney Leonard, Ryan Leonard, Stephen Mott and Roxanne Mott (all of Houston, TX). She also has 13 great grandchildren. Her visitation will be held at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel on Friday, October 12 at 1 pm followed by a graveside service at 2 pm at Elmwood Cemetery.
