Loudell N. Dobbins

Loudell N. Dobbins of Trussville, AL was born in Fayette County on September 18, 1928 and passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the age of 91. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She always loved doing things for her family. Loudell worked in retail sales for many years with Loveman’s and later retired from Parisian. She then went to work for Dobbins Company for several more years and then retired to enjoy her time. Mrs. Dobbins was a member of the First Baptist Church of Trussville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Dobbins, Jr. Mrs. Dobbins is survived by her sons, Rodney Dobbins (Theresa) and Barry Dobbins (Linda); grandchildren, Alicia Falkner, Traci Marsh (Charles), Dr. Michael Dobbins (Dr. Fernanda Dobbins), and Anna Marie Dobbins;great grandchildren, Linley Falkner, Cameron Marsh, Laney Falkner, and Aaron Marsh; a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Services will be held Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Special thank you for comfort and companionship to Oasis Healthcare Hospice and to Mrs. Hughes, Misty Holden, Lashara Cox, Francine Horton, and Tonya Johnson. Each of you met the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional needs of Mrs. Dobbins and gave support to all of us. Please know that what you did doesn't go unnoticed and you are truly appreciated.
