ANDERTON, LOIS OLA V. HYDE, age 91 of Clay, went to her Heavenly Home on Friday, August 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald N. Anderton; and sons, Dennis Randell Anderton, Thomas Scott Anderton and Donald Steven Anderton. She is survived by her son, Chris Anderton (Jane); and grandchildren, Jenna Walker (Daniel), Reed Anderton and Olivia Wentworth (Asa). Lois graduated from Tarrant High School in 1947 and retired from The State of Alabama Department of Youth Services as executive assistant to the director of volunteer services at the VACCA campus. She was a member of The Healing Place Church in Trussville. Lois was known by many and loved by all. Her family will celebrate her life with visitation on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 10-11 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 11:00. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
