Linda Wilson Stanford

Linda was born March 13, 1948 in Alabama. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and the beach. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph H. and Jesse B. Cox Wilson; four sisters and 1 brother. Linda is survived by her son, George Mathews; daughter, Nina Gray (Josh); son, Alan Mathews (Jaime); grandchildren, Brittany Seagle, Madelyn Gray, and Harper Mathews; her sisters, Mary Nalley (Edward) and Martha Sue Blevins; brothers, Royce Wilson (Glennice); and Joe Wilson (Loretta); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Linda will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 35211, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A burial will occur at Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum, 600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, Alabama 35211.
