Larry D Argent

Larry David Argent Mar. 24, 1943 – Nov. 16, 2013 Larry D. Argent age 70 of Hoover, died November 16, 2013. Larry was preceded in death by parents Arthur and Lucy Argent and brother Bobby Argent. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Peggy Oberman Argent, daughters Jennifer Saunders ( J.T.) and Brenda Bensalem (Imad), son David Argent (Heather), sister Alice Lindsey (Bill), brother Charles Argent (Judy), aunt Bettye Ginn, grandchildren Hunter Argent, Peyton Argent, Travis Saunders, Troy Saunders and Trey Saunders, numerous nieces and nephews. Larry attended Minor High School, served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Larry worked at U.S. Steel and Alabama Power where he retired. He Attended Mt. Chapel U.M.C. He loved his family and grandsons. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, Alabama football and Fried Chicken. A celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 20, 2013 with visitation one hour prior at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Wesley Class in care of Mt. Chapel U.M.C. , 2541 Rocky Ridge Rd., Birmingham, AL. 35243.
