Francis “LaNell” Vandergrift Gaylor, age 90 went to her heavenly home at 6:21am, July 28, 2023. She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl (Dave) Schwellinger, daughter, Cindy (Alan) Cowart, and son, Alan Gaylor. She has 3 grandchildren, Melody (Terry) Bertrand, Blake Gaylor, and Christopher Gaylor. She has 3 great-grandchildren, Andrew Ates, Chloe Bertrand, and Thomas Bertrand. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bruce Gaylor, granddaughters, Melissa Tapp and Stephanie Darling.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday August 2, 2023 from 10:30 am until 1pm at Johns Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel in the Maple Room. A graveside celebration of life will follow at 1pm at Birmingham’s Historic Elmwood Cemetery.
