BLAKNEY, KRISTEN BAKER, age 29, of Remlap, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Freda and Foster Baker and Sallie and Roy King. She is survived by her father, Brian Baker (Cathryn); mother, Sarah Baker (Lee Hannah); and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kristen graduated from Clay Chalkville High School in 2001 and Jeff State School of Nursing in 2005. She was employed by TLC Nursing and Rehab. Her family will receive friends on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Her service will be graveside on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens beginning at 2 PM with Chaplain Paul Jordan officiating.
