Kevin Thomas

Kevin Thomas, 55, passed on March 1, 2018 at DCH Medical Center. He was born on August 2, 1962 in Birmingham, AL and resided in Tuscaloosa, AL with his partner Scot Cooper of 18 years. He was preceded in death by Bobby Lytell Thomas, Sr. Kevin is survived by his loving mother and father, Dianne and Jere Stallings; brothers, Bobby Lytell Thomas, Jr. and Tom Stallings (Stephanie) and sister, Stefanie Hepburn (Craig). Kevin graduated from Homewood High School and was a cheerleader for Homewood High School, the Birmingham Stallions and UAB. He was an involved member of the Mystic Krewe of the Druids in Tuscaloosa, and an active and cherished member of his Tuscaloosa community and family. Kevin was one of the strongest most determined people that many of us have ever known, and no challenge was bigger than him. He always lived as his true self and nothing less. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with a Celebration of Kevin's life on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
