Kenneth E Venable

VENABLE, KENNETH E., age 67, of Argo, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erskine and Obera “Chick” Venable; and brother, Douglas Brooks Venable. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Linda Calvert Venable; daughter, Joy Roberson (Blake); sons, Jimmy Ray Calvert and Shannon Venable (Ashley); sister-in-law, Debbie Venable; nephew, Jonathan Venable (Leah Katherine); nieces, Ginger Venable Stockley (Daniel), Debra Hawkins and Vicki Shaw (David); grandchildren, Brandon Meadows (Shannon), Josh Meadows, Jacob Roberson, Hunter Venable, Colby Venable, Savannah Venable and Amy; great-grandson, Hunter Lewis Meadows. Kenneth retired from AAA Cooper Transportation and was a member of Lagoon Baptist Church in Gulf Shores. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and known by “Andaddy” to all. His family will receive friends on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. His services will be on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Corinth Baptist Church in Argo lie-in-state from 10-11 and funeral at 11 AM with Bro. Ken Maddox officiating. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery.
