What a great day, September 3, 2017, for our charming mother, Kathryn Warren Crow, to cross to the best place. We celebrate her for the loving, warm and witty mother she was. She created a wonderful home for her family, and it was beautifully decorated with her treasured old English and rustic antiques. Our mother had a rare, natural talent for music and played the piano into her ninety-fifth year. She loved our father, whom she called “Daddy,” saying marrying him was her greatest accomplishment. Mother always enjoyed children, including all the neighborhood kids, that tended to gather at our family’s house. We will miss her with all our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Crow, Jr., and is survived by her children, Frances Crow Hopkins, William W. Crow, III, Warren Culbertson Crow, and Daniel Leo Crow (Lisa), and grandchildren, Wesley Jenkins and Hannah Crow.
Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Five Mile Presbyterian Church.
