J.W. Adams of Birmingham, AL passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the age of 90. J.W. was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed. He was retired from and served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He later retired from the Hershey Corp. where he was a plant manager for many years. J.W. loved playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved sports and his favorite teams were the New Orleans Saints, Boston Celtics, and Detroit Tigers.
J.W. was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mildred Adams; 3 Sons, Stephen Adams (Jenelle), Michael Adams (Janis), and Mark Adams; Grandchildren, Chris Adams (Sujon), Zach Adams (Angie), Brittany Adams, Raegan Adams, and Andrew Adams; Great Grandchildren, Taylor Adams, Tyler Adams, Sophia Adams, and Legend Classen.
