DOWNEY, JULIA HARPER, age 90 of Moody, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014. She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Downey. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Clarke Wilson Downey; sons, Robert Downey (Beth) and Harvey Downey (Marla); daughters, Judy Downey and Jeri Downey; sister, Juanita DeLoach; and granddaughter, Angela Downey. Julia was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and known as Mrs. J to her Burger King family. She was loved and will be missed by her family. Her family will receive friends on Friday, April 18, 2014 from 10-11 AM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 11. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
