Judith G. Lee, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home in Vestavia Hills, AL, and entered her Heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday November 14, 2017. Her parents, Norman Goodwin and Ann Gallimore, preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Jamie Windham (Eric) of Fairhope, AL, her son, Jay Lee IV of Vestavia Hills, and her grandson, Jackson Lee, of Vestavia Hills. Judy also leaves behind Brian Levine of Vestavia Hills, her caregiver and close family friend, her sister, Norma Dean of Vestavia Hills, her nieces, Wendy Petruzzi of Knoxville, TN and Betsy McGriff of Vestavia Hills, and her beloved canine companion, Luke. Judy was born in Birmingham, AL and attended Shades Valley High School and Auburn University. She was happiest when she was outside in the sunshine, working in her gardens, or just absorbing and revering all of God’s creations. She especially loved flowers, birds, butterflies, and her doggies, that she knew she would see again one day at the rainbow bridge. Judy blessed the lives of countless people and animals, and her presence here on earth is already missed and is going to be immeasurably missed forever. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday November 18, 2017 from 1-2 p.m. in the chapel at Elmwood Cemetery, with a celebration of life service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy’s name may be made to the charity of your choice. The family appreciates the staff of Comfort Care Hospice and Helping Hand Services for their care and support.
