COUCH, JONATHAN DAVID, age 40, of Springville, formerly of Jacksonville, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Aline Couch. He is survived by his wife, Kirstie Barton Couch; son, Wesley James Couch; father, James Couch; step-mother, Marie Couch; grandmother, Pauline Williams; step-sisters, Barbie Glass (Bret) and Dawn Silverberg (Jay); mother and father-in-law, Pam and David Barton; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jon was a devoted and loving husband, father and son. He was a member of Springville First Baptist Church. Jon loved Alabama football and sharing movies with his son and father. He was a wonderful friend who was liked by all that knew him. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 beginning at 2 PM with Pastor Chip Thornton officiating. Burial will follow at Springville Cemetery.
