HERRING, JOHNNY RAY, age 83 of Arley, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Martha Webb Herring; sons, John Kenneth Herring (Treva) and William Christopher Herring (Michele); daughter, Carol Ann Hall; sister Jean Graben; grandchildren, Eric Hall, Tara McGaughy (Kenneth), Rachel Bridges (Jacob), Tyler Herring (Laura) and Joshua Herring; great-grandchildren, Maddie McGaughy, Wesley McGaughy, Parker Bridges, Porter Kate Bridges and John Carter Herring; and numerous nieces and nephews. Johnny was a deacon at Arley First Baptist Church. He retired as Construction Superintendent from Brice Building Corp. His family will receive friends on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 10-11 AM at New Friendship Baptist Church in Union Grove, AL with service beginning at 11 AM.
