John Terrell Wilkins, JR., 81, of Birmingham, Alabama went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2018. “Terry” was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late John Terrell Wilkins, Sr. and Anne Thornton Wilkins. Terry was a 40 year employee of Bell South where he worked his way up the ladder into management positions. He was a 50 year member of Local 78 of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE). Terry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mignon Marsh Wilkins; son Terry Lee Wilkins; grandchildren, Katie Marie Wilkins, Colin Terrell Wilkins, Connor Lee Wilkins; brothers, Rick Wilkins and Fred Wilkins. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018 with funeral service following at 11 a.m. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
