His memory is held dear by his beloved wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Hall Randall, his daughters, Mary Elizabeth Finn, Debra Jean Randall, Patricia Randall Cowart, son-in-law, Pearce Cowart, his grandchildren Christina Robbins Norris (John), Randall Joseph Robbins, Mary Katelyn Hogan (Sean), John Ethan Cowart, Erin Elizabeth Cowart, Jessica Glenn Robbins, McKenna Ann Randall, great-grandson, Baylor John Norris, and Chebaka. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Ervin Randall and DeLena Williams Randall, his sister, Mary Ann Cantrell, and his twin brother, James Ervin Randall.
He was very passionate about family, hard work, and life with an underlying core of unwavering Christian faith. He excelled in athletics, was an accomplished pianist, and a creative businessman. John began his career at age 16 with accountants Charles Moses & Son, and continued with Baggett Transportation and Tractor Trailer Equipment Co. In June of 1992, with business partner, Charles Carter, John created his own company, RC Trailer, Sales, and Service. After working for over 60 years, he retired in October of 2015.
John was an avid fisherman and golfer most of his life, and loved sharing these interests with his children and grandchildren. He was a man of honor, integrity, intelligence, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was well respected and trusted by everyone who knew him. May his memory be a blessing to all who crossed his path throughout the years. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be held for him Wednesday July 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at Tuesday July 18, 2017 from 5 - 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials honoring John M.
