John David Giddens

We celebrate the life of John David Giddens, May 25, 1963–July 14, 2021. Born in Montgomery Alabama of the late Laura Virginia [Jones] and Rev. William Edge Giddens, Jr, and survived by his beloved sisters Margaret Anne Fritsma [George] and Virginia Helen Yarbrough, brothers William Edge Giddens III [Lynda] and Edward George Giddens, and his niece Jennifer Yates [Kevin]. A 20-year resident of Rainbow Omega Inc., a facility for developmentally disabled adults, John was a beloved child of God who brought joy to everyone he met.

Join John’s family on Saturday, July 17 as we rejoice in his salvation at Cahaba Springs Presbyterian Church, 6110 Deerfoot Parkway, Trussville, Alabama. Visitation at 11 AM followed by his funeral service at noon, Carl G. Martin, CRE, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Rainbow Omega, Inc, PO Box 740, Eastaboga, Alabama 36260-0740.
