Joe Charles Byrd

Joe Charles Byrd, age 72, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Billie Ruth Byrd. Joe is survived by his two brothers, Gary (Johnna) Byrd, Mike (Lesa) Byrd; and his sister, Judy (Joe) Connally. Joe is also survived by his nephews and nieces, Wesley, Ryan, Scott, Abby, Sherry, Chris, Jennifer and Andrew, along with 11 great nephews and nieces. Joe was a retired Firefighter with Birmingham Fire and Rescue and enjoyed spending time with his family. A visitation for Joe will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. Following the visitation will be a graveside service beginning at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235.
