JoAnn Franks Freeman, age 99 entered into the Lord's presence on January 5,2022. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother ,and friend to others she knew. She will be missed by all of her family and friends. JoAnn is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Liz) Woods (John); 2 grandchildren, Mark Woods(Mikki) and Heather Durham, 4 great-grandchildren; Olivia Durham, Ella Woods, Luke Durham, and Andrew Woods with special nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
There will be services held at Bluff Park Methodist Church located at 733 Valley Street Birmingham, Alabama 35226. Visitation will be held on January 8, 2022 at 9:00 AM. A Funeral Service will follow Visitation at 10:00AM, with a committal service being held at Elmwood Cemetery.
