Mrs. Joan K. Wallace, 82, of Leeds Alabama, passed away peacefully June 11, 2021 at her home with her loving family at her side. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mardis Bryan "Buddy" Wallace, her son, James Bryan Wallace and her brother, Howard King.
She is survived by her daughter, Belinda Brewer (Ward), her grandchildren, Ashley Jones (Matt), Jordan Brewer (Jessica), Chad Brewer (Regan) and Heath Wallace (Amy). She also has six great-grandchildren who loved "Nana" dearly.
A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 10:00am-11:00am in the chapel of Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel located at 800 Dennison Ave. SW Birmingham, AL. 35211 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00am. Burial will held immediately following the Celebration of Life in Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Joan supported Cedar Grove Baptist Church Missions Program and charity "Ride for Lyla" (Ronald McDonald House) also with Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
