Jared Adam Kime was born in Scottsboro Alabama on June 5, 1981. He died on May 9, 2023 in Birmingham Alabama. Jared had a deep trust in God and put his whole faith in Jesus Christ. He now sees God in full glory, without the stain of sin that the world brings. He was and is a rescued and redeemed child of God, and it showed through his abundant kindness and his deep love for others, as well as his genuine smile and recognizable laugh. He loved his family so well, was a dedicated structural engineer, church small group leader, little league baseball coach, avid cyclist, and his wife and kids’ biggest fan. He graduated from Auburn University and had a 16-year employment at LBYD Engineers. Jared is preceded in death by his father, Roger Kime. Family survivors are his wife, Jessica; four precious children, Isaiah, Elliot, Benjamin, and Caroline; his mother, Debra; brother, Jacob (Debra Salvia); and sister, Rebecca (Corey Comstock). Visitation will be held at The Church at Brook Hills on Saturday, May 13 from 9:00am to 10:30am, followed by a memorial service at the same location at 10:30am. Graveside service for family will be held at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville on Monday, May 15 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, Jared would have preferred that you love your family and friends well, study the Word of God, and seek for deep relationships, hard work, and a really good dose of fun.
