She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Dobbs; parents, Clifford and Katie Blocker; daughter, Elizabeth Michelle West; and her sister, Ruth Jones.
She is survived by her son, Danny West; daughters, Lydia Rene Stohrer and Lisa Denise Wilder; sisters, Elizabeth Chamblee, Jerry Kaloc and Katie Lee Vann; many grand-children, nieces, nephews and other family.
She was a life-long member of Gardendale Baptist Church where she sang and fell in the choir.
Ridouts Trussville Chapel will be handling services privately with the family only, due to risk of Covid.
