James (Jim) Milton Stewart, 78, of Cullman, AL passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 in Southland Nursing Home, Marion, AL. Jim was born May 14, 1946 in Birmingham, AL, to Milton and Anna Stewart. He served in The US Navy receiving an honorable discharge in 1969. Jim was retired from UAB.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milton, mother Anna, and brother John. James is survived by his sisters, Carol Ann (Sam) Burt, Mary Jo (David) Clements, brother, Jack (Sue) Stewart, sister in law Jill Stewart, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for James will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211, followed by a Funeral Service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial to follow after Chapel Service at Elmwood Cemetery.
