James Ronald Glenn of Birmingham, Alabama passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the age of 83. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Center Point. James served his country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the Birmingham News after 42 years in advertising.
James is preceded in death by his parents, James and Della Glenn; and his brother, Charles Glenn.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Evelyn C Glenn; daughter, Cindy (Michael) Brown; sister, Carol (Ronny) Fox; two grandchildren, Brittney (Drake) Clark and Michael J. Brown, Jr.; and one great grandson, Conrad James Clark.
A visitation will be held at Ridout's Trussville Chapel on Sunday, February 24, 2019, from 3-5 pm followed by a graveside service on Monday, February 25, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Panquin Cemetery in Grant, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association.
