James “Jeet” Carlton Armstrong of Leeds, Alabama went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at the age of 83. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mr. Armstrong was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Grace Armstrong, and his brother Dan Armstrong. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Pat Armstrong; his children, Paula Armstrong Kraft (Steve), James “Zeke” Armstrong (Annette), Greg Armstrong, Randy “Bush” Armstrong (Melanie), Carla “Doll” Armstrong McCombs (Chuck), and Mark Armstrong (Angie); 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A visitation will held on Friday, May 15th at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 12:30 to 1:30 pm followed by a graveside service at Forest Crest Cemetery at 2 pm. Keep his family in your prayers and may he rest in Peace.
