Isaac Dale Glenn

Isaac Dale Glenn, age 71, of Rainbow City, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. There is a lot to say about Isaac. One of the many things that could be said, is that he was a laid back and easy going man. He had great patience with anyone he met, and he never truly met a stranger. Among the many persons Isaac had met in life was his first love, his wife Beverly Glenn, who he married on August 5, 1978; and his children, though all family was equally important to him.

Isaac graduated from Phillips High School and was a hard worker putting in 35 years working for the City of Bessemer. He also donated his time to various functions and projects that he felt an interest in, or was asked to do.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Popwell Glenn and father, Floyd Gaines Glenn; and his brother, Mike Glenn (Janice). Isaac is survived by his wife, Beverly Glenn; son, Shane Morton (Lori); and his four legged daughter Faith Grace.

There will be a visitation on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Glenn-Iris Baptist Church from 1-2 pm, followed by a funeral service at 2pm. Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery following the funeral service.
