HOWARD A. “GOOB” TRAMMELL, age 86 of Tarrant, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Trammell; mother, Velma Lilly Trammell; and son, Larry Trammell. He is survived by his son, Michael Trammell (Cherrie); grandchildren, Tania Busby (Jason), Kayla Hightower (Jay), Tina Love (Braden), Callie Trammell and Michael Trammell, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Joseph Busby, Jacob Busby, John Hightower, Jace Hightower and Anthony Silas Love. Goob was a lifelong resident of Tarrant, a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Merita Bread after 38 years of service. He was a huge sports fan and loved all UAB sports especially UAB football. His family will celebrate his life with visitation on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Friday, May 21, 2021 beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Marvin’s Chapel Cemetery.
