Helen E Anthony

February 14, 1931 -- June 18, 2021

On June 18, 2021 at the age of 90, Helen Marie Anthony left her earthly home for her forever home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Helen was born Helen Marie Estes on February 14, 1931 to the parents of Curtis and Madge Estes. Helen was saved and baptized as a preteen at Flat Rock Baptist in Geraldine, Alabama. She has been a resident of Alabama her entire life, spending her early adult years in Tarrant. Trussville has been her home for the last 30 years. She retired from AmSouth Bank (now Regions) where she was an assistant branch manager for the Tarrant location.

Helen was a member of First Baptist Church Trussville. She was in Sandra Bearden’s Sunday School class and in the senior adult choir Joyful Hearts in previous years.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Anthony.

Survivors include a daughter, Janet, also a resident of Trussville, along with some cousins and special friends Charlotte Perkins, Robin and Derek Roberts (Logan, Cannon, Saxon, and Lottie).

Funeral services conducted by Ridout’s with internment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 23, from 10-11 at First Baptist Church Trussville in the chapel. Service will be at 11:00 a.m. with James Long and Bobby Erwin officiating, and graveside at Forest Hill Cemetery.
