Harvey W Morgan

Harvey W. Morgan, age 101, of Birmingham passed away March 9, 2020. Harvey was born August 2, 1918 in Russellville, Arkansas to Harvey W. Morgan Sr. and Nell Tillman Morgan. He was a member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church and a Veteran of WWII. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1941 with a B.S. in Marketing and went on the work in management with Sears for more than 30 years. He is survived by his sons, Paul T. Morgan (Alice) and Ronald Morgan, daughter, Maria Blanks Bailey (Bobby), five grandchildren, Shannon Morgan Herald (Kenny), Courtney Semsey Williams (David), Alice Anne Morgan Heath (Eric), Katy Semsey Vincent (Tony), Morgan Emmett Bevins and Bo Bailey (Nicole) and ten great grandchildren.

Per his request, there will be no service in Birmingham as the family will be taking his remains to Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, Harvey showed much interest in the following charities: American Cancer Society, Jimmie Hale Mission, Wounded Warriors and Boy Scouts of American. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
