She met her college sweetheart, Harvey while attending the University of Alabama. They married in September of 1952 and were happily married for almost 65 years.
Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey H. Oliver; her daughter, Cindy; and her siblings, Louise, Marjorie, and Buddy. She is survived by her children, Stephen I. Oliver (Carolyn) and Nancy O. Gray (Ves); 6 grandchildren, Bonnie Walker, Caitlin O. Thebaud, Thomas Gray (Brittany), Clay Oliver (Liz), David Gray, Marilyn Gray; and 4 great grandchildren, Alexis, Kaden, Grayson, and Franklin.
The family would like to express special appreciation to her caregiver, Denise Whitley, who provided love, excellent care, and friendship for our mom.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Vestavia Hills Baptist Church beginning at 11 AM, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
