Glenn Earl May was born on February 6, 1954 in Fairfield, AL to the late Evan’s K. May, Sr. and Nancy Jenkins May. He transitioned on March 25, 2019. He confessed Christ at an early age and became a member of Caro Church of Christ, leading songs during service and teaching Sunday School. He later joined Roebuck Church of Christ who recently changed their name to Deerfoot Parkway Church of Christ. In 1972 he graduated Wenonah High School, after graduation he attended Lawson State Community College where he became a member of Who’s Who of Amory Junior College students and Vice President of the SGA. He also served in the Air Force and drove the Bus for Jefferson County. Glenn married Rosie May, in that union two daughters were born. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Reginald May and Daniel May. He is survived by two daughters, Clemesha (Samuel) Coleman, Glenniquia (Desmond) Wilson; one son, Robert B. Clayton; one sister, Anita Antiwi; two brothers, Evans K. May, Jr., Barry (Lisa) May; eight grandchildren, Je Nyah, Samuel, JaDen, Devyn, Dylan, Nathaniel, Kamya and Triston; one sister-in-law, Mattie May; a significant other, Charlene Jones and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
