Glenn Beam

Beam, Glenn, age 76 of Springville, formerly of Geraldine, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Corene Beam. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Beam; son, Jerry Beam (Sarah); brother, Paul Beam; sister, Joyce Butler (Danny); grandchildren, Colt, Brooklyn, Cora and Sawyer; and many other extended family members. Glenn was born and raised in Geraldine and graduated from Geraldine High School in 1966. He loved to keep busy tinkering with things including car engines, drag racing and deer hunting. Glenn was very helpful in the community volunteering with the Geraldine Rescue Squad for many years. His family will celebrate his life on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with his service beginning at 11:00. Graveside service will be that afternoon at Hopewell Cemetery in Geraldine beginning at 3:00 PM.
