Georgia D. Glenn of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at the age of 81. She was born in Fayette County, AL. on August 18, 1937, and graduated from Berry High School. Georgia was also a graduate of Clown College.
Georgia was married to the love of her life, Lloyd, for over 55 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucious and Earline Davis; brother, Kellis Davis; sister, Barbara Perry; and brother in law, David Glenn.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lloyd H. Glenn; sisters, Emma (Carl) Wallace, and Geraldine (Bill) Herring; brother in law, Marty (Susan) Glenn; sister in law, Edith Glenn; and a multitude of loving nieces and nephews.
Georgia was a telephone pioneer for Bellsouth. Everyone will miss her outgoing spirit.
Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Sunday, March 17, 2019, from 3-5 pm. Funeral services will follow on Monday, March 18, 2019, at 11:00 am at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
