KNIGHT, GEORGE “YOGI” EDWARD, age 84 of Birmingham, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. He is survived by his wife Rosa Knight; sons, Donald Edward Knight (Pamela) and James Walter “Bo” Knight (Doris); step-son, Gene Roberts (Katrina); step-daughters, Pam Donaldson (Randy) and Kathy Varden (Scott); brothers, Charles Knight (Faye) and Donny Burch (Kay); sister, Anna Laura Camp; grandchildren, Ashley Bonds (Chris) and Shelby Ramsey (Cody); great-grandchildren, Zelend and Brooks Bonds; and several nieces and nephews. George was a Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He loved Auburn Football, fishing, going to the casino, traveling, watching westerns and especially his many dogs over the years. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Forest Crest Cemetery beginning at 11:00.
