Geneva was preceded in death by: Her father Henry George Hosey and mother Lena Mae Ham Hosey, husband William H. “Bill” Myers, sons William Henry “Hank” Myers and Lawrence Everett “Larry” Myers.
She is survived by daughter Genne Nelson, brother-in-law John Myers(Carol), sister-in-laws Eleanor Horne (JD) and Diane Butler(Tom).
Geneva was involved in the Bluff Park Art Show which she co-chaired for 20 years. She retired from US Steel, and was an active member of Bluff Park UMC for many years up until her inability to attend due to health problems.
A visitation will be at Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 1pm. A graveside service will follow at 2pm at Birmingham's historic Elmwood Cemetery with Reid Crotty officiating.
