Johnson, Freeman age 86 of Birmingham, AL passed away on December 11, 2012. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is best remembered as the co founder and co owner of Magic City Trucking Service, which started in 1954. The trucking business was his passion outside of the love for his family. After 39 years he retired and spent most of his time watching his family carry on the legacy he once created. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Robbie Lee Johnson; son, Gary Don Johnson; grandson, John Bell III. Freeman is survived by his daughter, Teresa (John) Bell; grandchildren, Cooper (Anna Brooke) Johnson, Jeremy (Amy) Bell and Patton Fussell; great grandchildren, Addison, Cooper and Charlie Johnson. A visitation will be held Friday, December 14, 2012 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 2 PM at Forest Crest Cemetery.
