Frank Clark Gilmore III

Frank Clark Gilmore, III, “Clark”, passed away August 10, 2015. He is survived by his three daughters, Tina Anderson, (Mark), Becky Peterson, (Matt), and Cindy Robbins, (Benton), and five grandchildren, Taylor Anderson, Caroline Peterson, Avery Robbins, Kate Peterson and Sam Robbins, and his brother Mickey Gilmore, (Leslie), and his sister Nancy Gilmore, and five nieces and nephews, and his former spouse Wanda Gilmore. Clark was predeceased by his parents Frank Clark Gilmore, Jr, and Olive Laverne Green Gilmore. Clark was a member of Highland United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. He was a member of the Alabama BAR Association and a practicing attorney in Jefferson County Family Court. Clark enjoyed singing and was a member of the Birmingham Choral Guild. He also enjoyed family history, orchids and coffee but most of all, he loved his daughters and grandchildren and attending their numerous activities. Clark’s family would like to thank the UAB Neuro Intensive Care Unit, UAB Palliative Care Staff and friends Melissa and John Bodie for all of their love and support. Visitation will be held at Highlands United Methodist Church on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. The funeral service will be celebrated at 3:00pm at Highlands United Methodist Church followed by burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
