Oct. 5, 1921 - May 11, 2016 Frances Louise Treadaway, 94, completed her earthly journey and has arrived at her heavenly mansion so perfectly prepared. "Fran" grew up in Ensley, moved to Pleasant Grove in 1963, later living in Hueytown where she attended the Garywood Assembly of God. She was previously married to Leroy Treadaway (aka "Tarzan") who passed in 1993 and she was preceded in death by her brother William H. Yessick (surviving wife Annette). She is survived by sons Ray Treadaway (wife Connie), David Treadaway (wife Michelle), and her other children Pat and Andy South, as well as several grand- and great grandchildren. She exhibited long-standing faith, and loved to sing in the choir or play hymns on the organ or harmonica. Her life will be celebrated at 11am on Tuesday, May 17, at Johns-Ridout in Elmwood Chapel.
