Frances "Charlie" Jackson a loving mother and friend , age 72 of Pell City passed away June 21, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband and best friend Ronald Gary Jackson Sisters, Carolyn Dean and Jean Patterson She is survived by her brother and his wife, Milton and Nellie Smith. Sisters Annie Cordelia McCary and Frances Ford, Brother and Sister-in-Law Sam and Brenda Hawkins, Tommy Jackson Son John Berger, daughter Tracy Berger Falkner, Stepsons and wife's, Kirk and Sho Jackson and Brian and Lisa Jackson. Grandchildren, Madisyn Falkner, Allen Jackson, Zack Jackson, Jonathon Berger, Jake Jackson, Alex Jackson and Savannah Jackson. Niece, Linda Gail Adams and her beloved husband Ron and their family. Nephew Furman Dean Dearest friends, Johnny and Dolly Osborn, Jimmy and Carol Dickinson, Ken and Nan Busenlehner She is also survived by her loving dog Coosa, cat Zippy and grand dog Bella (short stuff) Charlie was a graduate of Phillips High School and later attended Jefferson State where she studied Accounting and Business Management. A faithful and dedicated employee with the State of Alabama, she received countless appreciation and achievement awards. In 1985 she was giving the Honorary Lieutenant Aide-de Camp State Militia certificate by the late Governor George Wallace. After many years of being dedicated to her job, she retired to spend time with her husband and family. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Cure Pancreatic Cancer-Lustgarten Foundation or the Greater Birmingham Human Society. There will be a visitation 10-11 am Wednesday June 24, 2015 at John Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel followed by a graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery.
