Elsie Louise “Tink” Allen of Irondale, AL passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 at the age of 88. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Allen was a longtime member of Pineview Baptist Church in Irondale, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, James Roy Allen; and her daughter, Anita Louise Goodwin; brothers, James Edward Golden and Herman Hill Golden; and a sister, Ruby Lee Carden. She is survived by sons, Curtis Eugene Weathington (Joan) and Kenneth Alan Weathington; her daughter, Terri Finlay (Trey) and step daughter, Susan Caldwell; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchid; several nieces, nephews, and her loving church family.
Because of the Covid-19 Pandemic services are being confined to family only on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale, AL.
