Elizabeth Looney Collier age 90 of Hoover passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012. She graduated from Parrish High School and attended the University of Montevallo. Mrs. Collier was a member of Riverchase United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Clarence Collier; sister, Irene Rogato; and son-in-law, James D. Dupuy. She is survived by her son, Tom Collier (Carol); daughter, Carmen C. Dupuy; grandchildren, William Collier (Alex), Jason Collier (Michelle), Shannon Humphrey, and Melissa Bryan; seven great grandchildren; and niece, Mary E. Rogato. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 13, 2012 beginning at 10:00 am at Elmwood Chapel. A chapel service will begin at 11:00 am followed by burial in Elmwood Cemetery. In addition to flowers, donations may be made to Riverchase United Methodist Church Building Fund.
