Diane E. Wingate

Diane E. Wingate of Locust Fork, Alabama passed away on June 30, 2020 at the age of 68. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Diane loved children and was well known in her community for her kindergarten daycare and many of the children she kept still stayed in contact with her after many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert W. Teague, Sr. and Gladys Torbert Teague. Diane is survived by her husband of 48 years, John D. Wingate, Jr.; two sons, Michael Wingate(Courtney) and Jason Wingate; her daughter, Jennifer Wingate; brother, Billy Teague; grandchildren, Kessley Wingate, Eugene Hawkins, Kaleb Wingate, Kyra Wingate, Kaylee Wingate, Natalie Wingate, Delaney Wingate, Baylee Wingate and Bennett Percha; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with services at 11 am and visitation beginning at 10 am. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville.
