Diane W Carlisle

Diane “Dee” Wehby Carlisle of Hoover passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. she was 79 years old. Dee was born in Birmingham Alabama on June 17, 1942 to Jimmie and Anne Wehby. Dee grew up on the Southside of Birmingham made lasting memories and many cherished friends with her quick wit, unique personality and infectious laugh. She attended Ramsey High School, and later married and had two children. She loved horses and all animals, enjoyed all sports and was an avid Alabama fan as well as a member of the Magic City Boppers. Dee was a successful business woman and entrepreneur. She was a member of St. Elias Catholic Church. With her wit, generous nature, and special love for her family, Dee will be deeply missed. Proceeded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Ann Wehby, her brother, Richard Wehby, and sister, Ingrid Wehby Wilson. Dee is survived by the father of her children Paul Carlisle, Sr., her sons, Paul Carlisle, Jr and Christopher Carlisle (Ann Marie), her grandchildren, Jared, Zachery, Cole, Bay , and Emily Carlisle. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Uncle, Aunts, a host of friends, and her beloved canine companions. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
