David Lee Blackwell

Blackwell, David Lee, of Trussville, AL was born on August 23, 1961 and went to be with the Lord on February 29, 2012. He was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, he loved golf, going to Camp Bluebird, Alabama Football the weather and especially snow. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Jackson Blackwell. David is survived by his father, Van Lee Blackwell of Trussville, AL; brother Daniel (Shannon) Blackwell of Trafford, AL; sister, Cynthia (Ed) Fawwal of Hoover, AL; nephews, Tim Blackwell of Springville, AL and Jeffrey Hall of Trafford, AL; niece, Dory Fawwal of Hoover, AL; aunts and uncles, Ernestine and Gene Bailey, Jerry and Ann Blackwell and Carolyn Brown. Visitation will be Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 11 AM until service time at 12 Noon at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Interment will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery in Gadsden, AL. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that you make contributions to the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 7500 Roper Road Trussville, AL 35173.
